SpeechTech Operator is a voice-controlled system for connecting telephone calls. Usually connected to the corporate telephone network via ISDN, or SIP. The purpose of the system is to connect a call by the caller, the caller does not know the telephone number dialed, but suffice to say the name of the person calling. The system is based on using our own technology for speech recognition.
The system is utilized mainly in medium and larger companies, offices and other institutions equipped with internal phone network. Can also be used in other situations, for example, increase comfort, or even to provide current information from a database of employees and the like.
The system can be equipped with its own database into which data is imported (list of callee and the list of their phone numbers ), or it can be connected to an external database.
After filling the internal database, or linking to an external database, the user calls the telephone switchboard (ie system), which prompted him to say the names called. After saying the name of this system recognizes, in a database search telephone number dialed, and it then the dialed call is connected. Alternatively, on demand the system may provide additional information about a call from the database.
The system can of course be also used for incoming calls from the outside "public" telephone network, the caller knows the name or just called his office or department name eg. The phonebook system attendant can also add a name or names of institutions "outside" society, and calls can also be connected to public telephone network.
SpeechTech switchboard operator system is used successfully in the order of several thousand names on the list.
